BlueKey Equity Partners Invests in Revolution Healthcare Services

Company Fills Critical Need for Healthcare Professionals

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  November 14, 2019

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Healthcare organizations across the country have relied for years on staffing companies to relieve temporary and permanent staffing shortages.  As those shortages have significantly increased, the reliance on these experienced healthcare professionals has become magnified for hospitals, healthcare facilities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes as well as for patients who are recovering at home.

Today, BlueKey Equity Partners (BKEP), a small to middle-market private equity firm, announced the completion of its investment in Revolution Healthcare Services (RHS), a locum tenens staffing, as well as short and long-term healthcare recruiting and staffing company headquartered in Palm Beach, Florida.

“The decrease in the number of healthcare professionals – especially physicians and nurses -- along with the rise in the number of insured Americans and the rapidly increasing senior population -- is driving the demand for temporary and permanent healthcare professionals as well as at-home healthcare services,” said Amaury Cifuentes, CFP®, CMP®, and a BlueKey Equity Partner.

CEO Marc Domb, PT, founder of Revolution Healthcare Services in 2019, has been in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years.  RHS provides temporary and permanent staffing for a variety of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and physical, occupational and speech language therapists.  The firm is currently expanding its placements to include other healthcare professionals such as pharmacists, respiratory therapists, social workers, and radiology techs.

Domb, who serves as an industry advisor to BlueKey Equity Partners, has developed and launched several successful, start-up healthcare business models, including home healthcare, private care, durable medical equipment, and medical staffing.

RHS is comprised of three disciplines:

Locum Tenant – Provides healthcare professionals nationally to fill in when a healthcare worker – mainly physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners and nurse anesthetists--- goes on leave or retirement, to deal with an increased patient load or to fill in while a new professional is being hired and trained. The average length of assignment for locum tenens staffing ranges from five weeks to six months.

Allied Healthcare – National and recruiting staffing firm for placing healthcare providers in physical, occupational and speech language therapy roles.  The company is currently expanding to include pharmacists, respiratory therapists, radiology techs and social workers.  The scope of the business encompasses travel and temporary staffing solutions for both part-time and full-time assignments.

Evolution Rehab Group – A Medicare-certified rehab agency providing physical, occupational and speech language services in the home environment under the outpatient therapy benefit.

The healthcare staffing industry has become a $17 billion industry, fueled by a shortage of healthcare professionals, especially physicians and nurses, across the United States.

In fact, the Association of American Medical Colleges predicts the country could face a shortage of 150,000 doctors in the next 10 to 15 years.  Long-term growth of the segment is expected to be fueled by the aging population, an increase in life expectancy, the increasing shortage of physicians, and the availability of healthcare insurance to most citizens.

“The healthcare staffing industry is growing exponentially,” said Cifuentes. “Blue Key Equity Partners is convinced that Revolution Healthcare Services will help fill the critical need for health care professionals in hospitals, private facilities, and residences across the United States.”
