Amaury’s, career spans over thirty years in banking and finance. His career started in 1986 with American General Finance, a major insurance company, were he was promoted and became one of the youngest branch managers in the nation. After working for several financial firms, Amaury co-founded and was President of a regional direct lender. Wanting to pursue his career dedicated towards financial planning and investments, Amaury sold his interest in 1997 to IMC Mortgage Company, a CitiFinancial Mortgage (Citigroup) subsidiary.
Amaury continued his entrepreneurial spirit and continued investing and managing financial firms dedicated toward business lending, real estate and private investments. In 2005, Amaury founded Cifuentes & Associates which is now BlueKey Wealth Advisors, a firm dedicated to assisting high net worth families. Throughout his career Amaury has gained extensive knowledge in areas of financial planning, investment management, business ownership and capital markets which allowed him to navigate financial firms without faltering through several severe recession, including the recent great recession of 2008. This experience has allowed him to provide his clients, partners and investors with objective advice not solely based on textbook, but life experiences.
Amaury received the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation regulated by the CFP Board of Standards Inc., after completing his studies at Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science from University of Central Florida with concentrations in Economics, Health Care Administration and a minor in Legal Studies. In continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Amaury, continues to be a member of the Investment Wealth Institute and the Certified Financial Board where he continues attending educational forums expanding his knowledge of capital markets. In addition, to earning the Certified Medical Planner™ designation, enhancing his knowledge of the specific needs of the medical industry.
Amaury was awarded the Presidential Recognition Award for “Advancing Quality Advice” from American Express Financial Advisors Inc. In 2011, Amaury was recognized by Medical Economics as “2011 Best Financial Advisors for Doctors”.
Amaury is active in the community and continues to support charities. He currently on the Foundation Board of Memorial Health Care Systems and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. In addition to supporters of the Marti Huizenga Boys and Girls Club, Greater Hollywood YMCA Family Center, Hispanic Unity of Florida, and Mobile Pantry, National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and the Hispanic Wealth Initiative.
Amaury has been in South Florida for over forty years. He spends time with his wife Lila of over thirty years and his children; enjoys golf, chess and mountain biking.
